About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Brendoncare Knightwood. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to residents, respecting their individual choices and preferences.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Document care given, recording any changes and reporting them to the person in charge of the shift.
  • Support residents' families and friends, keeping them informed at an appropriate level with due regard to confidentiality.
  • Work with the Activities Team to develop engaging group and one-to-one activities that cater to residents' interests.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as healthcare professionals and social services, to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
