We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Estimator and Commercial Assistant to join our team at KLH UK Limited. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Commercial Manager and Senior Estimator in the preparation and submission of bids, as well as the delivery of live projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and submission of bids for new projects, working closely with design teams and site teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Support the Commercial Manager and Senior Estimator in the delivery of live projects, including the management of project finances, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of commercial strategies and processes to drive business growth and profitability.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in commercial software and systems, including estimating and project management tools.
- A strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, including contract law and negotiation techniques.
