Key Responsibilities

  • Full preparation and control of production and manufacturing accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular group reports, including monthly management accounts, cash reporting, and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs while improving reporting accuracy
  • Periodic site visits to ensure accurate reporting
  • Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  • Compliance activities, including audit, tax, and statutory returns
  • Providing technical accounting guidance on UK and international GAAP
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of plans and forecasts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident, qualified, and experienced finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing. You will be working closely with the CFO to provide technical accounting guidance and support in the preparation of plans and forecasts.
