Claims Handler Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing new and existing property claims, providing excellent customer service, and working within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of new and existing property claims, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customers, clients, and insurers via phone, email, and written communication.
  • Handle and resolve insurance-related technical questions from clients.
  • Monitor claim progress, assessing liability and making decisions within delegated authority levels.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage third-party suppliers, such as building networks and restoration services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in buildings/property claims handling, from initial assessment to resolution.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced telephone environment.
  • Strong diary management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Experience in handling challenging situations and complaints, with a focus on empathy and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work within a targeted environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
