Manager - Power & Utilities Transactions

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Manager - Power & Utilities Transactions. This role will involve leading internal project teams and coordinating with external advisors to deliver high-quality client outputs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial advice, project finance, and corporate finance, with a proven track record of working on major projects. They will also have in-depth knowledge of key value drivers in projects such as policy, regulation, financing, and investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal project teams and coordinate with external advisors.
  • Develop and review high-quality client outputs.
  • Stay updated with key sectors in Power & Utilities.
  • Develop sector-specific market intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and risk management procedures.
  • Perform business development activities to support the growth of the utilities infrastructure business.
  • Promote our services through networking, thought leadership, and speaking engagements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in financial advice, project finance, and corporate finance.
  • Proven track record of working on major projects.
  • In-depth understanding of key value drivers in projects such as policy, regulation, financing, and investments.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling, including scenario modelling and risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with construction contract terms.
  • Strong report and business case writing skills, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to identify and analyze key value drivers for projects.
  • Experience in investment appraisal and development/building of financial models.
  • Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams (economics, finance, legal, engineering).
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness.
