Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the stock control of food and materials, ensuring that all items are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Prepare and portion food for lessons, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with the ordering and receipt of food deliveries, working closely with teaching staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Conduct laundry duties within the department, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Perform general kitchen duties, including washing up, setting up, and cleaning/clearing away equipment and its surroundings.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a regular and effective service. Additionally, they will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme prior to appointment.
