About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Team Lead to join our operations team at DP World. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and to reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address any operational issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of training completed and training to be conducted.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, and that all employees are aware of and adhere to our safety policies and procedures.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations supervisors, logistics teams, and other departments.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on warehouse operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role, with a strong background in team leadership and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues and concerns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices, including 5S methodology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
