**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Manager to join our team at Venture Recruitment Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of tax matters, including personal and trust returns, complex estate planning, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file trust, estate, and personal tax returns using IRIS software.
- Manage client correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs and third parties.
- Track and meet critical deadlines for trust and estate filings.
- Prepare trust accounts and monitor deadlines for charges and entitlements.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for clients.
- Handle inheritance tax returns for trusts and estates.
- Offer ad hoc tax advice, such as trust distribution planning.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Undertake other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- A professional qualification like STEP, ATT, or CTA (part-qualified).
- At least 2 years of experience in a private client or trust department.
- Strong accuracy, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and ambitious approach.
- Proficiency in IT, with experience in case management and tax software (IRIS preferred).
