Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical and contractual evaluations of tender requests.
  • Develop comprehensive estimates utilizing quality assurance protocols and estimating software.
  • Obtain competitive bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Execute detailed take-offs to facilitate tender assessments and financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather essential tender information.
  • Participate in site inspections and client discussions.
  • Inform project teams about successful tenders.
  • Guide and mentor Estimating Engineers to ensure timely and complete tender submissions.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (HNC, ONC, or City and Guilds) in a related field.
  • Significant experience in estimating within the chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, utilities, or food & beverage sectors.
  • Strong grasp of contemporary estimating and commercial practices.
  • Solid foundation in engineering and project management principles.
  • Expertise in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • High level of computer proficiency.
