Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role within the Kier Highways team, overseeing the commercial and financial elements of our highway projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets. Perform detailed cost forecasting and reporting to ensure financial adherence.
  • Contract Management: Draft and evaluate contract documents, including bills of quantities and specifications. Manage subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports and statements. Conduct regular financial assessments and provide insights to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies for mitigation. Maintain an updated risk register.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
