Fleet Manager Responsibilities
  • Assist the Fleet Manager with day-to-day driver management and develop a training program for the driving team.
  • Ensure road safety and compliance across all sites through regular audits and verification of driver's hours regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and GDPR-compliant filing of paperwork and conduct at least 3 base audits per week.
  • Train staff to use the R2C system and monitor its usage, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Oversee incident reporting and insurer referrals, and lead pre-production base compliance meetings.
  • Interview and select employees, ensuring a positive induction to the company, and maintain relationships with sub-contractors, agency staff, and clients.
  • Identify and implement site operational efficiency improvements and manage the Driver Training and Assessing team.
Fleet Manager Requirements
  • Fleet/Transport Manager International CPC qualification and knowledge of Operator Licence Regulations.
  • Experience of providing exceptional customer service and compliance auditing processes.
  • Flexible working hours to ensure contact time with day, evening, and weekend shifts, and good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Desirable qualifications include knowledge of Fleet Maintenance Systems, training experience, and/or a recognised Health & Safety qualification.
Fleet Manager Benefits
