Accountant Job Description

Your new company is an established organisation located in Stowmarket, Suffolk. They are seeking an Accountant to join their finance team at their site in Stowmarket.

This is a varied role that will suit a candidate with a mix of financial and management accounting experience. You will be reporting to and working closely with the finance director on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with financial statement preparation
  • Payroll review and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Finance business partnering
  • Financial analysis and modelling
  • Assisting with audit preparation

You will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or an Accounting Graduate with relevant practical accounting experience. A strong commercial outlook and confident communication skills are essential.

My client is open to candidates looking for their first step into industry or looking for a new challenge in a commercial environment.

This role is offered on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) with generous benefits, including 28 days + 8 bank holidays, and a discretionary bonus.
