Payroll Implementation Specialist

Page Personnel is recruiting for a Payroll Implementation Consultant on behalf of a growing professional services business based in central Manchester.
As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients in all stages of the implementation lifecycle, from client data gathering for the configuration of payroll software to managing clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support/Lead client meetings, discovery workshops, and weekly project calls to ensure successful implementation.
- Assist/Advise clients to plan for, prepare, and cleanse data prior to migration between systems, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Configuration of Brain Payroll/Sage People Payroll to meet clients' business requirements based on configuration documents, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing.
- Full end-to-end implementation process - this includes: Discovery, Data Migration, Parallel Run, Reconciliation, to ensure complete payroll solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all payroll projects, providing technical guidance and support.
- Respond to customer queries and provide technical support during the implementation process, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Engage with multiple projects and clients at the same time, and manage project priorities to meet deadlines.
- Attend internal and external project meetings, providing status on progress and project deliverables, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Offer advice on configuration options and impact - advising on best practice, ensuring optimal payroll solutions.
- Have knowledge and awareness across both HR and Payroll functions but with a clear focus on payroll, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
- Provide advice on configuration options and impact to clients and the team, leading discussions on product interfaces, ensuring effective communication.
- Proactively ensure the highest standards of professionalism, service, and accuracy for team and project work when assigned, ensuring exceptional results.
- Have a proven track record in an implementation role, demonstrating expertise and reliability.
- Be able to take ownership of project life cycles, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Be familiar with HR and Payroll across multiple sectors, ensuring adaptability and flexibility.
- Have strong MS Excel skills, ensuring efficient data analysis and processing.
