Ashton Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Cleansing Operative to join our client's team.

Position: Cleansing Operative

Location: Lisburn

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to the public regarding the segregation and disposal of recyclable materials, ensuring a high standard of customer service and promoting recycling efforts.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the general cleansing service, including litter collection, manual sweeping, and the removal of debris from public areas such as roads and parks.
• Engage in comprehensive refuse collection duties, which encompass the collection and disposal of household and commercial waste, bulky item collections, and the management of illegal dumping. Ensure that all tasks are executed according to established schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience, providing specific examples of at least one year in:

1. a) A similar role within a waste management context; and
2. b) Offering face-to-face customer service on a daily basis.
