Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £29,750 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at React Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials across the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking and coordinating logistics arrangements for UK and overseas shipments
  • Packaging goods for safe transportation in cartons or on pallets
  • Preparing domestic and export documentation
  • Communicating with customers to confirm and update logistics arrangements
  • Loading shipments
  • Receiving and unloading deliveries
  • Controlling goods to ensure accurate and compliant deliveries
  • Coordinating with suppliers to resolve any issues
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift (licence preferred)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in operations, with a strong understanding of export documentation
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Counterbalance and reach truck licence (preferred)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the business
