We are seeking a dedicated Finance Support Assistant to aid the Finance Business Partner team in delivering essential financial assistance and insights across various operations and project implementations.
Your role will involve providing a dependable support service to the Finance Business Partner team, collaborating with property teams to offer guidance and constructive feedback, particularly concerning projects and financial forecasts.
Work EnvironmentAs a member of a team of seven, you will report directly to the Finance Business Partner and support four Finance Business Partners, each responsible for a specific portfolio area. The team oversees critical functions, including visitor services, conservation efforts, and multi-faceted investment projects.
In this role, you will experience a diverse range of tasks, work alongside knowledgeable colleagues, and contribute to the stewardship of significant properties.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include assisting with forecasting and financial reporting. You will work closely with property managers and project leaders to ensure the accuracy of forecasts and maintain up-to-date information within the financial systems.
Additionally, you will facilitate finance training across the region and assist with reporting systems, empowering budget holders to effectively manage their financial resources.
Utilizing our reporting system, you will monitor expenditures and budget variances, proactively engaging with teams to ensure financial data is precise and that necessary documentation is in place.
