Position Summary

In the role of Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), you will play a crucial part in overseeing and managing all compliance-related activities within the organization. Your main objective will be to ensure that the compliance strategies of the company are effectively executed and in alignment with the broader business objectives. This position is vital for protecting the company's assets, reputation, and continuous operations.

Key Duties

  1. Design, implement, and uphold a thorough compliance management framework to identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks.
  2. Lead the compliance department and collaborate with other teams to weave compliance management into business operations.
  3. Stay updated on regulatory changes and guarantee adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Conduct routine compliance evaluations and audits to assess the efficacy of compliance controls and make necessary modifications.
  5. Offer strategic advice to the executive team on compliance issues and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  6. Compile and present compliance reports to the board of directors and senior management.
  7. Promote a culture of compliance awareness within the organization through training and educational initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in a senior compliance management position within a growing payments organization.
  2. In-depth knowledge of compliance management principles, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices.
  3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  4. Proven leadership and team management skills.
  5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly advantageous.
