About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Formulation Scientist to join our licensed product development team at Consult, a successful privately-owned pharmaceutical company.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting formulation development work, including pre-formulation and formulation characterisation, while supporting process development and manufacturing as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and characterise new formulations to meet project goals
  • Plan and execute experiments, writing protocols and reports to support the formulation development process
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all work undertaken
  • Write documents to support regulatory submissions
  • Communicate project progress to senior managers
  • Sourcing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and excipients in line with current regulatory guidelines
  • Organisation of development laboratory, equipment and consumables
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Formulation Scientist with a degree-level science qualification in pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline.

Previous formulation development experience within the pharmaceutical industry is essential, with a particular interest in oral liquid products and/or paediatric medicines.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
