Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at Lady Seaward's C of E Primary School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to the classroom teacher and work across the school to support teaching and learning. This will include delivering targeted interventions, promoting inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being, and working under the direction of the class teacher and liaising with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and providing individual support to pupils
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEND and other needs
  • Work with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to promote inclusion and social skills
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils as needed
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who is flexible, motivated, and able to work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEND and other needs, and be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and compassion.
