HGV Class 1 Driver Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team in Newton Abbot. As a part-time driver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours with the potential to secure full-time hours during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver palletised goods safely and efficiently using a Class 1 curtain-sider.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
  • Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
  • Minimum of one year of HGV driving experience.
  • ADR licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £16.81-£17.93 (PAYE ADV) with alternative PAYE options available.
  • A minimum pay guarantee of 8 hours per day.
  • Full training provided to ensure your success.
