Conveyancing Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join our prestigious law firm, QED Legal. As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely completion and meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership sales and purchases.
  • Ensure all activity within the team is completed in accordance with strict deadlines and in line with set KPIs and SLAs.
  • Meet individual targets and objectives, including target number of completions per month.
  • Communicate with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Update panel members and stakeholders with relevant information.
  • Deal with referrers' SLAs and meet their requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a conveyancing fee earner role.
  • Confidence in dealing with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership sales and purchases.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a proven track record in meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in using Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, and Online SDLT.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anti-money laundering legislation, CQS requirements, and SRA compliance obligations.
  • Good keyboard and IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
