Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement conceptual and basic designs for plants that generate, transport, and store low-carbon fuels, such as green hydrogen and ammonia, and/or carbon dioxide.
  • Design and develop philosophies and descriptions for the design and operation of these plants, as well as lead documents like process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Sizing and specifying process equipment, such as electrolyzers and gas treatment systems.
  • Preparing and coordinating design efforts.
  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
  • Acting as the owner's engineer, representing Uniper's interests throughout all engineering phases up to financial decision.
Your Profile
  • Hold an engineering degree-level qualification, ideally in process engineering.
  • Have relevant experience in engineering or owner's engineering of gas or hydrogen infrastructure, plants, or gas storage facilities.
  • Knowledge of water supply and leaching processes for above-ground storage facilities is a plus.
  • Experience working in an international business environment and leading engineering contractors.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant process engineering software tools, such as HYSYS and Flaresim.
  • Be a resilient team player with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Have business-fluent language English with good communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of German, Dutch, or Swedish is a plus.
  • Be willing to travel within the UK and internationally.
