Job Overview:

Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Operations Director within a dynamic multi-site cleaning organization, the Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to client expectations and legal requirements. This position is crucial for fostering a culture of health and safety excellence across the organization. The Compliance Manager will offer practical advice, support, and direction on all aspects of legal compliance, focusing on Auditing and Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing safe operational protocols that recognize and address all pertinent hazards.
  • Contributing to the integration of ISO14001 and 9001 management systems alongside OHSAS 18001.
  • Conducting regular site evaluations and inspections to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Performing risk assessments on-site to ensure all activities are documented and compliant.
  • Formulating health and safety strategies and enhancing internal policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in compliance, preferably within facilities management or the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of operations in a fast-paced, high-volume, low-margin environment.
  • Ideally possess certifications in IOSH and BICS.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload.
  • Demonstrated initiative and capability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Vetting Requirements:

Candidates must undergo the Metropolitan Police vetting process, achieving NPPV2 (CTC) clearance.
