Lead Interior Fit-Out Project Director

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a highly experienced and driven Project Director to spearhead our prestigious interior fit-out projects in London.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exceptional, bespoke joinery and interior design schemes across diverse sectors. You'll be part of a renowned company with over 45 years of experience delivering high-quality work.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within those financial parameters.
- Guarantee that all work adheres to client specifications and expectations.
- Effectively manage project resources, including staff, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with clients and their representatives to provide updates on progress and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
- Monitor the financial performance of projects and implement strategies to minimize costs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through proactive engagement.
- Actively participate in value engineering initiatives to maximize project profitability.
- Maintain a high standard of safety throughout all projects, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and procedures.
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly on projects exceeding £60 million, ideally with a focus on interior fit-out projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations; CSCS Black Card is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to add value and optimize profits.
- Proficiency in IT tools for creating programs, reports, and maintaining records in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
- Ability to build and nurture successful client relationships.
- Experience working effectively in demanding environments while remaining calm under pressure.
- Excellent influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills.
