Position Summary

This is a remarkable opportunity to become part of the Nuclear Imaging team. Our department is situated in a newly established, state-of-the-art facility.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive team member with strong organizational and communication abilities to join our technologist/radiographer team.

While experience in nuclear imaging is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in radiography or nursing.

Our team caters to a diverse patient demographic and conducts a variety of clinical assessments, including cardiac, pediatric, and PET-CT studies utilizing advanced technology.

Some duties may involve collaboration with our satellite department.

This position is ideal for a dynamic professional eager to expand their expertise and contribute positively to the advancement of Nuclear Imaging.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will perform clinical tasks in a specialized field that necessitates careful consideration of the risks associated with ionizing radiation and infection control. The individual must demonstrate empathy and possess the skills to guide patients through complex procedures. Responsibilities include assessing patient referrals, managing care safely, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and conducting patient scans. The role also involves image processing and delivering results that meet the highest technical standards. Support the Chief Nuclear Imaging Technologist and collaborate with other clinical professionals to ensure an efficient and effective service. Adhere to regulatory frameworks and comply with all Local Rules and Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a safe working environment in line with Health and Safety legislation.
