About the Role

We are seeking a talented Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Burges Salmon. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will play a vital role in advising clients on complex legal matters and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and advising on commercial contracts, including distribution and agency agreements, and franchise arrangements
  • Negotiating commercial contracts to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Providing regulatory advice on consumer contracts and other commercial matters
  • Supporting broader transactions, such as hive-downs, to drive business growth
What We're Looking For
  • Relevant experience working on non-contentious commercial contracts
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn, with a passion for commercial law
  • Experience of leading others to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
