Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Infrastructure-Defence team in Bristol and South West. As a key member of our Programme Controls Team, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of Project Controls processes within the Programme or a subdivision thereof.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day management, staffing, and implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.
  • Direct and coordinate all Project Controls activities associated with the design, manufacture, construction, and commissioning of the Programme work scope within safety, quality, time, and cost milestones.
  • Act as the key point of contact for all matters relating to Project Planning within the P3M South West Defence team, maintaining a strong service provision to our clients, and regularly feeding back updates to the Regional Discipline Lead.
Requirements:
  • In-depth experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications, including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Project Controls & Planning with expertise in Earned Value Management, risk management, and in the core aspects of the NEC Contract.
  • Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a construction-related subject.
