Audit & Accounts Senior | Top 15 Firm | Excellent Career Opportunities
We are working with a top 15 firm in London who are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing and dynamic team.
Your role will consist of 80% Audit and 20% Accounts on a diverse client base, providing you with a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting audit and accounts preparation jobs with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Completing jobs before passing them to the Manager for review, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Allocating sections to junior staff and briefing them on expectations, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Completing audits in accordance with procedures, with assistance from more senior members of staff where required, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Checking and supervising the work of junior staff, both on-site and in-office, and completing any necessary sections.
- Signing off audit sections, addressing any problems or queries, and completing the file before passing it on to the Partner/Director/Senior Manager/Manager for review.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance with necessary regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Answering queries from junior staff throughout the audit, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitoring the progress of jobs, ensuring budgets are met, and addressing any problems that arise to ensure the audit is completed within budget and timeframe.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist with relevant practice experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of audit and accounts principles.
