Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business in the UK. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing crucial engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to the engineering team to ensure machinery breakdowns are swiftly addressed and maintenance is conducted to uphold manufacturing operations.
- Drive project development from inception to completion, presenting solutions and progress to the team.
- Support plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
- Develop and maintain engineering workshop procedures and equipment to the highest standards.
- Proven experience with PLC's - Siemens Type S5 and S7.
- A solid background in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines, including experience with Eurotherm and Uni Drives.
- Qualifications such as 17th Edition Electrical Installation, BTEC, or City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Competency in fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to use workshop machinery.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000, including allowances, and benefits such as 33 days holiday per year, an excellent monthly performance bonus, Medical Healthcare Cash Plan, and a Cycle to Work Scheme.
