Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business in the UK. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing crucial engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support to the engineering team to ensure machinery breakdowns are swiftly addressed and maintenance is conducted to uphold manufacturing operations.
  2. Drive project development from inception to completion, presenting solutions and progress to the team.
  3. Support plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
  4. Develop and maintain engineering workshop procedures and equipment to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience with PLC's - Siemens Type S5 and S7.
  2. A solid background in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines, including experience with Eurotherm and Uni Drives.
  3. Qualifications such as 17th Edition Electrical Installation, BTEC, or City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  4. Competency in fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to use workshop machinery.
