We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team at Emotiv Technical Recruitment. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development of electrical and electronic systems for our automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems for automotive applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and electronic systems into vehicle platforms.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in vehicles.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation for electrical and electronic systems.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and electronics engineering, with a focus on automotive or electric vehicle systems.
  2. Proven experience of integrating EE systems and components into a variety of automotive platforms with a track record of successful project delivery.
  3. Direct experience of delivery of the EE content of an electric vehicle project highly desirable.

Skills:

  1. Thorough practical understanding of automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and electronic control units (ECUs).
  2. Ability to work with a range of prototype and production vehicles as well as supporting HiL and other Laboratory based testing.
