Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior LeDeR Reviewer to join our team as a Programme Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our LeDeR Programme team in Coventry & Warwickshire, contributing to the improvement of health outcomes for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of LeDeR Reviewers in conducting high-quality reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance care services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, social care services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation Lead to deliver the monthly LeDeR subgroup and quarterly focus group with Grapevine and Experts by Experience.
  • Support the LeDeR admin team in the collation of review documents and ensure timely delivery of reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care services for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Provide clinical supervision and line management to LeDeR Reviewers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct high-quality reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and national policies related to learning disabilities and autism, applying this knowledge to inform programme decisions.
  • Contribute to business planning and operational planning, ensuring the effective delivery of the LeDeR programme in Coventry & Warwickshire.

Requirements

  • Registered Health Care Professional with significant experience in health and social care settings.
  • Trained LeDeR Reviewer with expertise in conducting high-quality reviews and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in line management and supervision, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and improving patient outcomes.
  • Knowledge of pertinent legislation and guidance related to the care of people with learning disabilities and autism.
