Electronics Engineering Consultant

Take your next career steps in MedTech with our consultancy, working on varied projects that require your expertise in electronics engineering.

We are looking for an Electronics Engineering Consultant to join our team, working on multidisciplinary MedTech hardware projects. As a key member of our electronics team, you will work with mechanical engineers, software developers, applied scientists, and human factor engineers to deliver electro-mechanical products and technologies used within the healthcare sector.

Requirements:
  1. First or 2.1 in Electronics or a similar field, with demonstrable industry experience as an electronics engineer on a range of different projects/products.
  2. Experience with PCB design, ideally using Altium Designer.
  3. Experience with firmware, including writing embedded C/C++ for small product devices.
  4. Understanding of low noise analogue circuit design and EMC for electrical safety.
  5. Project experience working in a well-regulated industry sector (ideally MedTech, but also defence and aero sector experience would be considered).
  6. Experience with FPGA development using Verilog would be highly desirable.
  7. Prior engineering consultancy experience would be advantageous.

As a project team member, good communication skills are essential. An aptitude for learning and an open-to-learning approach are also expected. Work can be varied, from system integration of off-the-shelf hardware components to digital electronics design.
