Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Repair Stress Engineer to join our dynamic and reactive team providing structural repair support to Airbus operators and MROs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of Airbus aircraft by analyzing and validating metallic and composite structures for static strength to support structural repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Signature Support: Provide signature support to subcontractor agencies, ensuring that repair documentation meets airworthiness regulations and guidelines.
  • Repair Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of repair documentation delivered from subcontractors to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations.
  • Integrated Engineering Team: Collaborate with the Repair Design and F&DT Engineers to ensure the strategy, policy, and direction of the integrated engineering team are maintained.

Requirements

  • Delegated Repair Stress Signature: Must have held a delegated repair stress signature for SA and LR Airbus aircraft, for SAS and TD.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization, setting objectives and prioritizing tasks to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Static Analysis: Possess the ability to perform static analysis of aircraft structures using a range of hand and computer methods.
  • Liaison and Negotiation: Ability to liaise and negotiate with Design, Customer Services, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • PC Skills: Demonstrate excellent PC skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
