Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Senior Housing Support Coordinator for a 3-month engagement, with the potential for extension based on client needs. We invite qualified candidates to submit their CVs for consideration.
Compensation: £24.75 per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional services in relation to Later Living initiatives and specialized housing, ensuring effective emergency support is available outside regular hours.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of service objectives and adapt to evolving requirements, focusing on customer relations, ongoing service enhancement, and promoting a positive image of the Council.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the service, dedicated to providing value for money and upholding high standards of customer service, health and safety, aligned with the Council's core values.
- Administer tenancy management services, assisting residents in adhering to their tenancy agreements, ensuring support plans are fulfilled, and engaging with residents, stakeholders, and senior officials regarding support and housing management matters.
- Handle intricate casework, including but not limited to safeguarding, domestic violence, mental health issues, elderly support, hoarding situations, property conditions, mediation, conflict resolution, anti-social behavior, substance misuse, and family challenges, while collaborating with various partners.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in spoken English is essential for effective communication with the public, ensuring polite and courteous interactions.
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing tenancy management across multiple landlords and managing complex casework.
- Knowledge of property management functions, including health and safety regulations and compliance with resident safety standards.
Additional Information:
- Immediate availability or readiness to start on short notice is required.
- Eligibility to work in the U.K. is necessary.
- This position mandates an enhanced DBS check.
