About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5t Driver to join our team at JDP, a leading distributor of civils and drainage products in the UK. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering plastic pipes and associated goods to customers in the Launceston area and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Deliver orders to JDP customers in a timely manner, striving for on-time completion.
- Comply with all vehicle and driver legislation, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements
- A valid Class C Licence is a minimum requirement.
- Some Driver CPC training is necessary.
- A digital driving licence (tacho card) is required.
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment is essential.
- A detailed understanding of driver procedures, including driving hours rules and regulations, is necessary.
- The ability to determine the most efficient route for daily delivery schedules is crucial.
- Excellent communication skills and good customer service skills are required.
