The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our wrapping machinery, contributing to the quality of our products while minimizing production disruptions. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Total Productive Maintenance initiative, aimed at maximizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate high-speed wrapping machines and checkweighers to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Conduct daily quality checks and complete production documentation to maintain high standards.
  • Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards, adhering to 'clean as you go' procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Implement quality standards procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in every product.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in operating and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably wrapping machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to follow hygiene and safety protocols rigorously.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to support and train new team members.
  • Familiarity with TPM practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
