We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Site Manager to join our Highways Division, overseeing a variety of highway projects. These projects encompass tasks such as the renewal of expansion joints, replacement of bearings, phased panel replacements, refurbishment of drainage channels, and corrosion protection for structural elements.

This position will primarily operate from our office, with the majority of work scheduled during nighttime hours across the network.

  • Evaluate and engage subcontractors.
  • Communicate and collaborate with local stakeholders as necessary.
  • As an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will possess a relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent, along with a current SMSTS qualification and an appropriate CSCS card. You should have a proven track record in managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor, particularly in Highways, Earthworks, and Structures.
Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK and hold a full UK driving license.
Compliance with current legislation is essential, including the development and implementation of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs) and other related safety/project documentation.

  • You will have experience in the UK civil engineering sector, particularly with the NEC form of contract. A relevant industry qualification (SMSTS or equivalent) is required, along with substantial main contractor experience, ideally in projects associated with the Environment Agency, including earthworks.

Comprehensive Benefits Package and Professional Development Opportunities:
Life assurance coverage (4x annual salary)

  • Company vehicle or car allowance
  • Company pension scheme (matching contributions up to 6%)
* 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays (with an option to purchase additional leave)
