Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle service maintenance and repair, working alongside experienced technicians, and learning to perform safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle service maintenance and repair
  • Work alongside experienced technicians
  • Perform safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Replenish supplies as requested by technicians or service manager
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Attend training classes and departmental meetings

Requirements:

  • Desire to be a Vehicle Technician, possibly with NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Interest in motor trade and vehicles
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be open to taking orders and instruction
  • Driving licence required when fully qualified
