Key Responsibilities:- Allocate customer payments accurately and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Review historical customer payment allocations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and send customer statements in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and send sales invoices with supporting paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Chase overdue payments through a combination of email, phone calls, and letters to ensure prompt payment.
- Track retention, contra charges, and bad debt to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
- Generate reports on payment allocations, debt collection, and financial tracking to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Perform other finance administrative tasks as directed by the Finance Manager to support the smooth operation of the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in credit control and possess the necessary skills to effectively manage credit control responsibilities. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
