Project Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our financial strategies and ensuring data accuracy and effective communication across teams.
About the RoleThe Financial Controller will serve as a co-pilot for our organization's financial performance, providing valuable insights to drive informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring clear communication of the EAC (Estimate at completion) baseline and close monitoring of actual costs against the plan.
- Providing financial reporting on project Key Performance Indicators comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast.
- Closely monitoring the project cash and work in progress.
- Reviewing financially relevant contractual matters, including Supply Contracts, Works Orders, and Change Notices.
- Maintaining awareness of project Risks and Opportunities and actively supporting Risk Mitigation and Opportunity Attainment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous financial experience working in a project-based environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, although not essential.
- Experience working within a large organization.
