Position Overview

Our client, a prestigious Cabinet Maker, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their esteemed organization. This role involves generating detailed quotations and cost assessments for bespoke interior projects.

The company specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing tailored interiors for the luxury residential sector, both domestically and internationally. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of high-end bespoke cabinet craftsmanship, including various finishes and specialized techniques prevalent in the luxury market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for estimating inquiries, evaluating project scope, complexity, and alignment with company capabilities.
  • Develop quotation templates and assign pricing to items, facilitating project review meetings.
  • Establish project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Accurately plan and schedule work on a weekly basis within the Estimating framework.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and mid-tender discussions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in IT, with experience in CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Understanding of fundamental revenue models, including profit/loss analysis and forecasting.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: £38,000 to £48,000 based on experience, plus pension contributions.
  • Participation in company events and social gatherings.
  • Complimentary lunches for the entire team on Fridays.
  • On-site parking available.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
