Software Development Lead Job Description

**About the Role**

At Mane Contract Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead our software development team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing software requirements, focusing on fault management and application health.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead software development from concept to coding, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to ensure project success
* Oversee software requirements, focusing on fault management and application health
* Understand customer needs to inform project requirements, working closely with the Project Manager and Quality team to identify risks, issues, and opportunities
* Ensure key developments are communicated to the engineering team and provide technical input to support project planning and reviews

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in leading technical software projects
* Deep understanding of software engineering principles
* Skilled in embedded software design with a solid grasp of related hardware
* Proficient in writing C/C++ for embedded applications
