About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, supporting a variety of specialist materials projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and manufacturing support in a variety of interesting projects linked to the Royce Institute activities within the High temperature, Corrosion and Erosion centre.
  • Support researchers, students and external clients in wide ranging, interesting and challenging projects.
  • Become fully responsible for the operation, maintenance, safe working and standard operating procedures of specialized equipment and laboratory areas.

About You

  • You will need to have a BTEC Level 3 advanced Apprenticeship completion in a relevant discipline and/or significant experience.
  • You will be a self-motivated, proactive person with a calm approach to challenges.
  • You will have good communication skills, a good working knowledge of health and safety, and the ability to learn quickly.
