About the Role

VRS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Chemist to join our client's Met ID team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and applying analytical methods to ecotoxicological, e-fate, physchem, and residue studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize analytical methods for ecotoxicological, e-fate, physchem, and residue studies
  • Develop and apply mass spectrometry techniques, including LC-MS, for metabolite identification
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement analytical method plans
  • Research and implement the latest technologies and practices to evolve the company's working practices and services
Requirements
  • BSc/MChem/PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or related subject
  • Knowledge of method development, specifically using LC-MS for Met ID studies
  • Understanding of industry regulations, such as GLP, GMP, or ISO
  • Experience with Sciex and/or ThermoFisher mass spec technology
