The Senior Electrical Engineering Consultant is an integral member of the engineering division within the global framework of Egis Structures et Environnement, taking on essential duties that actively foster the advancement of the engineering team.

This role encompasses oversight of all design, engineering, documentation, administration, and adherence to project parameters across Façade and other relevant disciplines.

Below is a summary of the key responsibilities and performance expectations for the Senior Electrical Engineering Consultant:

  • Act as a representative of the practice at the project level.
  • Exhibit the capability to assume responsibility for various projects.
  • Develop engineering alternative solutions, including comprehensive calculations and sketches for client endorsement.
  • Utilize engineering software tools such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech Pro Design, and Navisworks.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of specialist supplier packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant industry standards.
  • Review the preliminary inspection plan and collaborate with the quality assurance team.
  • Prepare operational and maintenance documentation.
  • Participate in the commissioning phase, providing oversight and support.

A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, or Building Services Engineering is required. Candidates should possess experience in electrical project engineering or a comparable position. A robust understanding of electrical systems from both design and construction perspectives is essential. Familiarity with current electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards is crucial. Proficiency in key engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech, and Navisworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
