Your Responsibilities:
As a Childcare Trainee, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience within a nursery setting. You will be paired with a mentor who will support you as you work towards becoming a vital member of the nursery team. Your apprenticeship will consist of both training sessions and practical experience at the nursery.

Your daily activities will involve:
  • Assisting colleagues in delivering exceptional care and education to children.
  • Establishing genuine and meaningful connections with children and their families.
  • Collaborating closely with parents to encourage their engagement in nursery activities and their child's development.
  • Working alongside nursery staff to ensure that the needs and requirements of children are met.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
  • Supporting inclusive practices and helping to plan and evaluate activities that address the individual developmental needs of each child.

Qualifications:

Training:
Your role and responsibilities will be defined by your employer, Realise, which will provide on-the-job training and incorporate 20% off-the-job learning into your workday. You will work towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship.
Training is delivered by Realise, the dedicated training provider for your nursery.

Other Information:
We conduct safeguarding checks following 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidelines. All nursery staff must have a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
