As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining this innovative platform. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers to design, build, and deploy mission-critical customer journeys, including payment processing, loan applications, and account management.
What You'll Do:- Develop robust and scalable microservices using modern JVM technologies like Quarkus or Micronaut with Kotlin.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and Webhooks for seamless communication between services.
- Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions to ensure data integrity and efficient retrieval.
- Contribute to the creation of a developer-friendly ecosystem through API documentation, tutorials, and SDKs.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Experienced software engineer with a strong foundation in Kotlin or Java 17+.
- Proven track record of developing lightweight microservices using frameworks like Vert.x, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, Webhooks).
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and experience working in a cloud-based environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
