Position: Laboratory Testing Specialist

Location: Heathrow

We are seeking a dynamic Laboratory Testing Specialist to become a vital part of our team in Heathrow.

This position involves a broad spectrum of laboratory functions, including essential lab administration, conducting various laboratory assessments, and performing daily laboratory tasks.

While prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred, it is not mandatory as we value a motivated team player who is eager to learn.

Accurate data entry will be a crucial aspect of this role, necessitating a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting critical test results into the system
  • Adhering to strict quality protocols while executing tests
  • Conducting a range of soil and concrete analyses in the laboratory
  • Coordinating with the quality assurance team for equipment calibration and reporting malfunctions
  • Upholding excellent laboratory practices, including equipment maintenance and safety protocols
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the workspace, maintaining a hazard-free environment
  • Completing additional tasks as directed by supervisors or laboratory management
  • Supporting UKAS Audits
  • Demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of independent work
  • Ensuring timely completion of in-house testing processes

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Minimum of GCSE level education with strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in construction laboratory testing is a plus
  • Proficient in IT applications
