Are you a skilled professional with experience in precision engineering and metrology? Do you have a strong background in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) with PC-DMIS controls? Are you proficient in using handheld quality inspection equipment?

If so, a contract opportunity has arisen to join Owen Daniels, a leading business in the motorsport sector, as a CMM Inspector.

Job Summary:

The CMM Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Conducting first-off inspections of manufactured components using both handheld and CMM techniques
  • Setting and operating CMM machinery using PC-DMIS software
  • Using relevant documents to establish correct inspection tools and techniques to confirm product verification, including Catia, PC-DMIS, CMM programming, Romer arm, and manual techniques
  • Raising and processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

Key Responsibilities:

The CMM Inspector will require:

  • Previous experience operating CMM machinery with PC-DMIS controls
  • Confidence in using other inspection techniques, including manual and Romer arm methods
  • Previous experience in precision engineering
