Position Overview

In this role, you will deliver thorough legal counsel to clients throughout the UK, guiding them through the intricacies of infrastructure initiatives. The practice supports both private and public sector entities on projects spanning various sectors, including energy, utilities, transportation, and social infrastructure (such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, housing, and correctional facilities). The team's proficiency covers the complete lifecycle of infrastructure endeavors, from procurement and construction to financing, operational management, and project conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with public and private sector clients on the procurement and negotiation of agreements for new infrastructure initiatives
  • Providing guidance to infrastructure funds and asset managers regarding contractual matters throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure project portfolios
  • Supporting contractors with the formulation of new agreements and modifications to existing infrastructure project contracts
  • Overseeing contract conclusion and asset handover processes
  • Offering advice on distressed projects
  • Drafting settlement documents for contractual disputes

Candidate Profile

This position is suitable for qualified solicitors with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience. While familiarity with construction, infrastructure/projects, or general commercial contracts is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
